New Maryland Lions Club
The New Maryland Lions Club is a local service group committed to improving the health and wellness of fellow community members. Our local club strives to meet the needs of those less fortunate and to make our community a better place. All of the funds raised by the NM Lions Club are returned to the community in  a variety of ways, such as scholarships, Christmas boxes, financial assistance, and one of our largest recipients – Portage Atlantic.

Portage Atlantic is based in New Brunswick and is a rehabilitation centre for teens and youth who have become addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. 

The Club hosts a number of blood donor clinics in the village throughout the year and we encourage you to donate and “give the gift of life."  The most highly recognized event hosted by the NM Lions Club is our annual Food and Toy Drive.  We encourage you to support the Food & Toy Drive to help us provide local families with a Christmas dinner and toys for children who otherwise would not have enough food or money to celebrate the Christmas season.
