Tim Scammell, PTech - Councillor

• was first elected in May of 2008 as Village Councillor.

• works for the Province of New Brunswick Department of Social Development as a Technical Services Inspector - Housing.

• is the current Chair of the Village of New Maryland Water and Wastewater Committee, a post he has held since 2008.  He also sits on the Village of New Maryland Recreation and Leisure Services Committee.

• is past-president and member of the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists

• is a graduate of Civil Engineering Technology and holds the Professional Technologist (PTech) designation.

• is President of the Fredericton Friends of the Railway Inc. A group striving for the preservation and restoration of the York Street Station in Fredericton.
