We offer four programs for youth ages 5-17.
Beaver Scouts (5-7
years old) The Beaver Scouts Colony meeting is held Monday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30pm at the New Maryland Centre.
Cub Scouts (8-10 years old) The Cub Scouts meet on Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00pm at Sts. John & Paul church.
Scouts (11-14 years old) The Scout Troop meets on Mondays from 7-9pm at Faith Baptist Church.
Venturer Scouts
(14-17 years old) The Venturer Scouts Company meets on Mondays from 7-9pm at Faith Baptist Church. If you would like more information on Scouting, contact 1st New Maryland Scouts , or telephone at 451-8995, or go to the 1st New Maryland Scouts website.

New Maryland Guiding - Arbour District is part of the Girl Guides of Canada. Girl Guides is a movement for girls, led by women. It challenges girls to reach their potential and empowers them to give leadership and service as responsible citizens of the world. We welcome girls 5-17+ years and woman over 18 to be part of the following groups:

Classes are held for both Children and Adults. we offer both competitive and recreational classes. The Children's program is for ages 6 to 14. The classes are held twice per week, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 7 to 8pm. The Adult program has three classes per week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8 to 9:30pm and on Sunday evening from 6 to 7:30pm. All classes are held at the New Maryland Elementary School. New Maryland Playgroup (kids 5 and under)
The Fredericton Regional Family Resource Centre is hosting a weekly
playgroup at New Maryland School Tuesday mornings from 10-11:30am. New Maryland Soccer
(Summer Only)New Maryland Soccer Association is the only club in New Brunswick that you can play from age 3 to well whenever you want to stop playing. We have age groups covering U4, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16-18, and one for the older kids 19 and up called Senior Soccer. You can contact us by , or visit our website www.nmsoccer.ca. Our season runs early June until August, we offer elite Division 1 programs for various age groups. Our elite teams travel to tournaments all over the Maritimes and represent our Village very well. We hope to see you on the pitch!!
Youth programs are offered by the Fredericton YMCA at the New Maryland Elementary School. The YMCA Basketball Program runs from September to February and the Indoor Soccer Program runs from March to May.
