WATER DISTRIBUTION MAIN

 Sealed envelopes marked “TENDER – Village of New Maryland, Sunrise Wellfield Development, Contract 6 – Water Distribution Main” will be received at the office of the Village Clerk, Village Office, 584 New Maryland Highway, New Maryland, NB. 3:00 pm local time, Thursday, April 27, 2023. The name of the Bidding firm shall also be indicated on the envelope. Public opening of bids will immediately follow in Council Chambers. Provincial Covid-19 protocols will be in place and must be strictly followed.

This IBA-Rural and Northern Communities Infrastructure Project No. 11876 is co-funded by the Government of Canada, the Province of New Brunswick and the Village of New Maryland.

Proposed work involves the supply and installation of approximately 2000 metres of 300 mm diameter water main and associated appurtenances along Route 101 within the Village of New Maryland. Work also involves the installation of water service laterals, site and road reinstatement as well as horizontal directional drilling to install sleeves and pipe across Route 101.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price (including HST). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance Securities as specified in the Bid Documents.

General Contractors only may obtain drawings and specifications from WSP Canada Group Limited, 80 Bishop Drive, Fredericton NB at a cost of $50.00 (including HST) per set, non-refundable. Payment can only be made by cheque or money order. Call Susan Breen at WSP 506-451-0055 to arrange a time to pick-up bid documents.

Bid Documents are on display at the Construction Office in Fredericton, NB.

The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.
