Joan Chandra was appointed by Council to the position of Treasurer in August 2007. The Village of New Maryland Finance Department is responsible for:

• the overall management of activities related to revenue collection and expenditure control for the municipality

• providing Village Council, staff and residents with relevant and authorized financial information.
