Natalie Reid was hired by Village Council to the position of
Recreation Coordinator in March 2008.
The
Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing the management
of all recreation facilities (community use of the Maryland
Elementary School, playgrounds, sport fields and courts, walking
trails, outdoor rinks, and the Teen Centre), the planning and
delivery of programs/special events for sport, recreation, and
leisure, beautification, volunteer development, and public
relations.
The department is composed of one full time
Recreation Coordinator, one full-time Recreation Forman, one
part-time Recreation Programmer, and
various casual/part-time/student positions.
