In accordance with Village of New Maryland Animal Control By-law No. 52, all dogs MUST be registered with the Village by December 31st for the following calendar year.

Regardless of when you purchased your 2017 dog licence, your dog is now due for its 2018 licence. The fine for not having a current year dog licence is $50.

You must show proof of your dog’s current rabies inoculations (veterinarian documentation) when purchasing a licence.

Licences can be purchased at the Village office, 584 New Maryland Highway, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. For your convenience, you can drop a copy of your dog’s rabies inoculation document along with payment in our drop box at the office, and your dog licence will be mailed to you.

Fees for 2018 dog licences:

$15 for spayed or neutered

$30 for unspayed or unneutered
