PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in accordance with the Community Planning Act, S.N.B. (2017) Chapter C-19 and amendments thereto, the Council of the Village of New Maryland intends to consider requested amendments to Municipal Plan By-Law No. 03-2016, Zoning By-Law No. 04-2016 and to harmonize these by-laws with recent revisions to the Community Planning Act.
Proposed Municipal Plan By-Law Amendment No. 03-01-2019 and Zoning By-Law Amendment No. 04-01-2019 have been requested to rezone a small portion of the property at 618 New Maryland Highway (PID 75347989) from an Institutional (I) Zone to a Residential Mini-Home Park (RMHP) Zone to allow for a minor adjustment to the mini-home park zoning boundary.
Proposed Municipal Plan By-Law Amendment No. 03-02-2019 and Zoning By-Law Amendment No. 04-02-2019 have been requested to rezone a portion of the properties at 210 New Maryland Highway (PIDs 75259945 and 75061945) from a Residential (R-2) Zone to a Community Commercial (CC) Zone to allow, subject to terms and conditions, for the future development of two proposed commercial buildings comprising of business and personal services tenant space.
Copies of the proposed by-law amendments may be inspected at the address below between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding civic holidays, or on the Village website at www.vonm.ca.
A PUBLIC PRESENTATION will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the New Maryland Centre, 754 New Maryland Highway, New Maryland, New Brunswick to present the proposed by-law amendments. Following the Public Presentation, written comments in objection to, or in support of, the proposed by-law amendments will be received by the undersigned until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
