Request for Proposals
Village of New Maryland
Athletic Park Redevelopment
Reference Number: RFP 2022-REC01
The Village of New Maryland is seeking competitive proposals for a professional consultant to prepare an in-depth consultation analysis and planning process that will give direction to a redevelopment plan for the Athletic Park property. The successful proponent will be responsible for all components related to the research, analysis, public consultation, community engagement and preparation of an Athletic Park Redevelopment Plan for the Village of New Maryland.
This project will include a thorough analysis and consultation with existing user groups, Village senior staff, members of Council, and the public (Village residents as well as local service districts) to gain a comprehensive understanding of the recreation needs in the community to determine service delivery now and in the future. The Athletic Park Redevelopment Plan will provide guidance on existing facility planning as current facilities reach the end of their lifespan and will also recommend options (including costing) regarding a redevelopment plan of the current facilities and available land. The Athletic Park Redevelopment Plan will be an important resource and forecasting tool for the future planning of recreation services on the Athletic Park property and in the community overall. Ultimately, this plan will help guide Council, senior staff, and the Recreation and Leisure Services Department in making decisions that best meet the needs of the community regarding recreation programming and service delivery in the Village of New Maryland.
The submission deadline is June 3, 2022 at 4:00 pm Atlantic Standard Time (AST)
