Urban / Rural Rides

We are very pleased to announce a new transportation service for seniors in New Maryland.

Urban Rural Rides is an affordable volunteer-based program whose mission is to provide affordable transportation to Greater Fredericton Area seniors.   The program has been operating in Westmorland and Albert counties for about 8 years and has proven to be a safe way for seniors to get to their medical appointments, get their groceries and run other essential errands.  The service goes beyond transportation; it is also about community connections, reducing isolation and helping seniors age in place.
