Government of Canada’s ‘COVID-19 Economic Response Plan’

The Government of Canada has announced new economic measures to help Canadians facing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. These measures include temporary income support for workers and parents without paid sick leave, longer-term income support for workers who lose their jobs or face reduced hours as a result of the impact of COVID-19, income support for low-income and modest-income familiies who may require help with their finances, and support for Canadian businesses facing financial hardship.
