Summer Day Camps (June 15 - August 21, 2020)

Summer Day Camp (June 15 – August 21, 2020)

Oh my, what interesting times we live in! More than ever, our staff cannot wait to have fun and PLAY with your kids this summer. We look forward to welcoming our returning campers and hope to meet some new friends this year as well. This year we have introduced some new themes and brought back many camper favourites! Due to the school closure, we have also added an additional week of Day Camp. At the New Maryland Day Camp program, your child will enjoy lots of outdoor play, daily crafts and activities, weekly theme dress-up days and most importantly tons of FUN at our technology-free camps.

This year our camps will be strictly following the Provincial Government COVID-19 regulations to ensure our camper and staff safety, while still promising a fun, engaging camp. Each camp will have a maximum registration of 15 and all camps will be held at the New Maryland Centre. Due to our lower numbers, camp registration will be limited to a maximum of three weeks per child for a one-week period. After the first week, parents may register for up to two additional weeks (max) for the summer. This will hopefully allow the opportunity for everyone who would like to attend a camp to join us this summer. Also, due to the cancellation of weekly Day Trips, the Day Camp registration rate has been reduced by $20 per child.

Registration will open on Monday, June 1st for Village residents and Tuesday, June 2nd for everyone. In order to minimize line-ups, registration on June 1st and 2nd will be through e-mail only. We will also be offering the option of paying for registration via e-transfer. Send in your completed registration form to our Day Camp Supervisor and details will be provided for the e-transfer (or payment may be dropped off as well). Starting June 3rd you may register by e-mail or at the Village Office by appointment. but (social distancing measures will be in place).

Day Camp may look a bit different this year, but we promise to make the most out of it and provide an exciting, fun, and safe program. Are you ready for an unforgettable summer?! So are we! Let’s do this!!
